There are several words to say ‘so’ in Thai. However, the word ก็เลย ‘kɔ̂ɔ-ləəy’ (ก็เลย) is the most common one in speaking. You will see how to use this word correctly in this lesson.

To be more exact, this word is used to show that something happens as a result of something that has just been mentioned. Therefore, the word ‘kɔ̂ɔ-ləəy’ (ก็เลย) could be translated as the word so, therefore, and that is why. You should say it after the subject of the sentence.
