สวัสดีค่ะ ยินดีต้อนรับสู่ Listen and Learn Thai ฟังไปเรียนไป กับ ปาม สำราญ พอร์ดแคสต์
ใน episode ที่แล้ว ปามได้เล่าประสบการณ์การนั่งรถไฟผิดขบวนในกรุงเทพฯ ให้เพื่อนๆ ฟัง ใน episode นี้ ปามอยากจะพูดคุยเกี่ยวกับการเดินทางในกรุงเทพฯ ค่ะ
ส่วนตัว ปามคิดว่าการเดินทางในกรุงเทพฯ ค่อนข้างสะดวกสบายค่ะ แล้วก็มีการเดินทางหลายแบบให้เลือก ไม่ว่าจะเป็น วินมอเตอร์ไซค์ รถสองแถว แท็กซี่ ตุ๊ก ตุ๊ก รถเมล์ รถไฟฟ้า รถไฟใต้ดิน เรือ แล้วก็ยังมีแอปพลิเคชันที่เรียกใช้บริการรถยนต์หรือรถมอเตอร์ไซค์ เช่น แกร็บ โบลท์ หรือ ไลน์แมนค่ะ
ตั้งแต่ย้ายมาอยู่กรุงเทพฯ ปามก็นั่งรถสองแถว แล้วก็รถไฟฟ้าบ่อยที่สุดค่ะ ปามจะนั่งรถสองแถวออกจากซอยไปถนนใหญ่เพื่อเดินไปขึ้นรถไฟฟ้าค่ะ ถ้าวันไหนรีบๆ ก็อาจจะนั่งวินมอเตอร์ไซค์ค่ะ
แต่ตอนเป็นวัยรุ่นนั่งวินมอเตอร์ไซค์เป็นประจำนะคะ เพราะว่าตอนนั้น ใจร้อน ขี้เกียจรอ แล้วก็ไม่อยากทนกับรถติด แต่พออายุมากขึ้น คิดเยอะ มีความกลัวมากขึ้น เลยนั่งวินไม่บ่อยเหมือนแต่ก่อนค่ะ
แล้วก็มีช่วงนึงที่ปามนั่งรถเมล์เป็นประจำค่ะ ตอนนั้นเป็นตอนที่ทำงานบริษัท นั่งไปทำงานแล้วก็กลับบ้าน จำได้ว่าตอนนั้นจากบ้านไปที่ทำงานจะมีรถเมล์ธรรมดา ไม่มีรถเมล์แอร์ค่ะ แล้วก็ไม่มีรถไฟฟ้าไปถึงด้วย ส่วนใหญ่จะเจอรถติดขากลับบ้าน บางครั้งก็ชั่วโมงสองชั่วโมง ถ้าโชคดีก็ได้นั่ง แต่ว่าถ้าโชคไม่ดีก็ต้องยืนค่ะ
แต่เดี๋ยวนี้ก็ไม่ค่อยได้นั่งรถเมล์เท่าไหร่ค่ะ ส่วนใหญ่จะนั่งรถไฟฟ้ากับรถไฟใต้ดิน เพราะว่าไม่อยากต้องเจอกับรถติดบนถนนค่ะ แล้วก็ตอนนี้เวลาไปข้างนอก ส่วนใหญ่ก็ไปในที่ที่รถไฟไปถึงแล้ว ก็เลยมีโอกาสใช้บริการบ่อยกว่าแต่ก่อนค่ะ
ส่วนแท็กซี่ ปามก็จะนั่งเวลาอากาศร้อนมากๆ หรือเวลาฝนตกหนัก หรือว่าเวลาต้องไปไหนไกลๆ แล้วไม่มีรถไฟที่ไปถึงค่ะ แต่ก็นานๆ ทีค่ะ ส่วนรถตุ๊กตุ๊ก ปามไม่ได้นั่งนานมากแล้วค่ะ จริงๆ จำไม่ได้ว่านั่งครั้งสุดท้ายเมื่อไหร่ คิดว่าอาจจะเป็นตอนที่ไปเที่ยวกับนักเรียน เพราะว่าส่วนใหญ่รถตุ๊กตุ๊กจะอยู่ตามสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวค่ะ
ส่วนเรือก็เป็นการเดินทางอีกแบบนึงในกรุงเทพฯ ค่ะ แต่ปามไม่ค่อยได้ใช้บริการเพราะว่าไม่ได้มีโอกาสไปที่ที่นั่งเรือไปได้ค่ะ แต่ก็เคยนั่งนะคะ แต่ก็นานมาแล้วค่ะ

Hello, welcome to Listen and Learn Thai: ฟังไปเรียนไป with Palm Samran Podcast.
In the previous episode, I shared my experience of getting on the wrong train in Bangkok. In this episode, I would like to talk about traveling in Bangkok.
Personally, I think that traveling in Bangkok is quite convenient. There are many ways to get around—whether it’s motorcycle taxis, songthaews (the shared pickup trucks), taxis, tuk-tuks, buses, the BTS Skytrain, the MRT subway, boats, or applications for booking cars or motorcycles such as Grab, Bolt, or Lineman.
Since moving to Bangkok, I have most often taken songthaews and the Skytrain. I take a songthaew out from my alley to the main road in order to walk to the Skytrain. On days when I’m in a hurry, I don’t take motorcycle taxis as often as I used to.
But when I was a teenager, I took motorcycle taxis regularly, because back then I was impatient, didn’t like waiting, and didn’t want to endure traffic jams. But as I got older, I thought more carefully, became more cautious, and so I don’t take motorcycle taxis as often as before.
There was a period when I regularly took the bus. That was when I was working at a company—I took the bus to work and back home. I remember at that time the bus from home to work was only a regular bus, no air-conditioned bus, and there was no Skytrain line to get there either.
Most of the time, I would run into traffic jams on the way home. Sometimes it took one or two hours. If I was lucky, I got a seat, but if not, I had to stand.
But nowadays I don’t take the bus much anymore. Most of the time, I take the Skytrain and the subway, because I don’t want to deal with traffic on the roads. Also, these days when I go out, it’s usually to places that can be reached by train, so I have more chances to use them than before.
As for taxis, I take them when it’s very hot, or when it’s raining heavily, or when I have to go somewhere far away that the train doesn’t reach. But that’s only once in a while. As for tuk-tuks, I haven’t taken them in a very long time. Actually, I can’t remember the last time—maybe when I went sightseeing with my students, because tuk-tuks are mostly found around tourist spots.
As for boats, that’s another way of traveling in Bangkok. But I don’t really use them, because I don’t usually go to places that can be reached by boat. But I have taken one before, though it was a long time ago.
